KWCEA is an independent, nonprofit educational organization, with the purpose of offering a wide range of educational resources regarding the Kentucky workers’ compensation system to all interested stakeholders, such as medical providers, attorneys, adjusters, nurse case managers, payors, employers and other interested parties. The Annual Conference brings workers’ compensation stakeholders together to discuss case law updates, recent proposed and/or adopted statutes or regulations, as well as state and national trends. Interim seminars are occasionally available to discuss important recent developments. KWCEA is not affiliated with any vendor, insurer, law firm, or other entity.
KWCEA proudly supports Kids’ Chance of Kentucky, an organization devoted to providing scholarships to children of Kentucky workers who have been killed or suffered catastrophic injuries in work-related accidents. All net proceeds from the Annual Conference benefit Kids’ Chance–in the past four years alone (2014-2017), KWCEA has donated $84,000.
