KWCEA 2013 Conference and Registration

Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Education Association Annual Conference

December 12th & 13th, 2013

Louisville Marriott East; Louisville, KY

To All Conference Attendees

The Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Education Association is pleased to welcome you to our Annual Education Conference. This year we are stressing the basics of comp law, adjusting and practice. And thanks to your comments on evaluation forms, we are changing the format to a full day on Thursday and half-day on Friday!

Our presenters will deal with medical issues relating to addiction; what is it, how does it impact your case, what can be done and who in Kentucky can do it. We will also hear from the Legal Counsel for both The Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure and KASPER. Both agencies have seen dramatic increases in activity and much of what they do directly affects our comp community.

Also this year we are pleased to have presentations from our newer Administrative Law Judges and an increased number of plaintiff attorneys who will participate in presentations and discussions. And our ethics topics will help protect your corporate wallet by reducing the likelihood of fines from the Commissioner’s office or sanctions from the KBA.

Once again we have held the line at $135 – still the best deal around. Thanks in advance to our exhibitors (close to 40) and to Fogle, Keller, Purdy, PLLC and M.Joseph Medical for sponsoring the cocktail party. And, as always, net proceeds go to Kids’ Chance of Kentucky. See you at the Marriott at I-64 and Hurstbourne Lane in Louisville.
